Stock-Keeper
JOB
Summary:
Performs material movements, kitting and transactions related to order fulfillment from the stockroom/kitting and warehouse area. Responsible for delivery of kitted orders to functional area within Production. Responsible for prioritizing orders delivered to Stockroom and window service responsibilities. Back-up to receiver.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Perform kitting or pulling of material to prioritized job sheets per kitting procedure.
Communication with relevant departments related to shortages.
Ensure all material transactions and movement are documented and filed.
Perform Inventory transactions daily to ensure system integrity.
Maintain window service per and report all unresolved issues to inventory control.
Assist with putaway of stockroom items and returns from the Production Floor.
Complete a Discrepant Material Report (DMR) for all damaged or non-conforming material and issue to quality.
Store incoming material in warehouse and stockroom locations and update system with changed bin locations as well as maintenance of inventory tags.
Fill shortages as they arrive using Material Shortage Report and communication with Receiving/Logistics departments. Move Material transaction and deliver to production kit.
Maintain FUR (Floor Usage Report) on expendable items. Performs transactions related to this process.
Maintain Daily Kitting report and submit to Logistics Manager on daily basis (email).
Replenishment of floor-stocking areas and processes related when applicable.
Support daily and weekly Cycle counts.
Assist Inventory Control in identifying, controlling and resolving inventory.
Keep an organized, safe, clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
3
years experience in a stockroom/kitting environmnet.
Demonstrated experience with MS-Office (MS-EXCEL, MS -Word) and Windows-95
Computer literacy
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, be able to multi-task and still prioritize daily requirements.
Strong attention to detail
Prior or current forklift certification.
MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
EWP-2002 Stockroom
Within 180 days of attaining position:
SOP-136 Purging Inventory
SOP-166 Consignment Material
