Duties:
To report to work and workstation on time and to have verbal communication with your on-coming relief. If relief is tardy, relay any necessary to your supervisor.
Review the formulation and compare ingredients to those staged and record any substitutions used.
Identify and select proper chemicals.
Keep positive identification of materials and record raw material lot numbers used on formulation sheet or other paperwork as applicable.
Weigh chemicals accurately and add to blenders at the proper time.
Deliver samples requiring testing to the laboratory as soon as possible after blend preparation.
Properly complete any paperwork required.
Properly seal partial materials and/or torn packages.
Properly clean down blending equipment and dispose of trash.
Properly use, clean and maintain safety equipment
Work with control room operator to plan work in advance.
Operate fork truck in a safe and efficient manner.
Keep the area neat and orderly.
Other duties as time allows at the supervisor's discretion.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
