Join us and make an impact each day you work at Masonite! Overview Under minimal supervision the Assembler will build and/ or assemble various door parts across multiple business lines.
Tasks are fast paced and require a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail.
What you will do:
Build all types of units with the correct quality specification to the customer's request.
Operate with a very high level of quality, safety, and productivity at all times.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Including safe use of pneumonic tools and/or sander, stapler, screw gun, drills, various table saws and nail gun.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
Read and interpret production tickets and/or labels in English.
Timely reports all concerns regarding production, machine use or maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
Continually checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; Use best judgement to resolve identified problems and alerts lead/ supervisor to issues as needed.

Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work area throughout shift.
Required to complete a final clean up prior to leaving at end of shift.
What you will need:
Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting HS Diploma or GED preferred Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Able to read and communicate clearly in English Use hand tools and push carts in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to at least to 50lbs and on occasion push/pull 100lbs, also to sit, kneel and stoop.
