Duties include; Reviewing claims for appropriate coding (ICD-10, modifiers, etc), and sending to insurance carriers based on carrier specific requirements.
Posting, and reconciling all payments both insurance, and patient.
Working with finance to account for all payments at month end.
Patient statements;Responding to patient billing inquiries.
Working with collection agency on accounts to go to collection.
Working insurance denials regularly to keep A/R within established benchmarks.
Striving to meet monthly goals.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Specialty billing experience a plus.
